the price is one of the best advantage of this hotel
the rooms are not good .not cofomrtable
The price was good. Most of the front desk staff was helpful. Drinks at the hotel bar are very reasonably priced.
This Soviet-era hotel is old. And while the staff do OK to maintain it, my room was not vacuumed once during the week I stayed there. The mattress in my room was in dire need of replacing, and the bathtub walls were so high that it was difficult to get in and out.
Beautiful view from a window of the hotel
the staff was good
u cannot have proper shower in room i stayed;water doesnt heat up;there is no stop cork so bath is not possible;the room was like icebox;u freeze;half curtain missing so sunlight comes to ur eyes when u wake up;i was offered another room which was better but i decided to change hotel;strictly they should not charge me;offered breakfast token and free taxi to new hotel
Very reasonable prices, good transportation and polite staff. It is not a luxury hotel of course, but all it has all necessary things.
A vew from the balcony
It was a cheap room that offered the basic amenities of a hotel room
It was not in the greatest condition. Granted, we did book an "economy" room, but still...
No issues with check in/out, polite staff
it was cold in the room, electrical radiator was not available. We were told that we could use additional blankets which are in the room, however there were no extra blankets, only extra pillows ;-) Breakfast costs 65 UAH per person in the hotel, in the city you can have a wonderful breakfast for 2 persons for this sum of money. These are just remarks, overall we are very satisfied with quality-price ratio
Price is good.
Turn the heating and hot water during the summer season on.
Really not worth it even if it is pretty cheap.
Bad smell in numbers for $50. Numerous spiders and webs on balcony and inside a number.
The hotel is very good value for money and has wonderful overview of Kiev city - it looks onto the Dnipro river and the underground metro is just a few stops away on the bus. Staff are also friendly and can speak in English too. It is also only half an hour away in the car from Borispol airport. The food is also good =a mixture of european and ukrainian.
The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. We had a small suite, so the room was very good, and the view on to the Dinpro fantastic. The cafeteria managed to turn around and do a wedding dinner for us with only one day notice, and the food was plentiful and excellent! We even got extra deserts for all guests as a gift from the cafteria staff. Prices were very good, both for the suite itself and for the dinner.
Would have been useful to have wifi in all rooms, not just public areas. Parts of the hotel (economy rooms) are not of a standard that would be acceptable to Western travellers, but prices are so low that one should not expect much more.
Reception crew not other
